Clean out the Clutter

Over this month, my focus is on the clutter in your daily thinking. Are you aware of the little things that are not aligned with my word? Do you realise that you’re not taking every thought captive? You are aware of bigger issues where you have a wrong mindset, but you are forgetting the little seeds the enemy is planting. You shrug them off thinking that it’s not as bad as the bigger issues like anxiety, pride or rebellion. You think you can get away with it. But I know your heart and I see that you’re not dealing with the clutter in your thinking.

Having negative thoughts about someone is still partnering with the enemy. Doubting your identity is still letting the enemy come in to steal. Worrying about money is still the seed for partnering with the spirit of poverty.

You must clean out the clutter!

I want you to do a thorough clean out of your thinking. Ask me where the enemy already has a foothold in your thinking. Sit down with me and ask me to show you your blind spots.

I am good and I will take care of you in the process. I will show you what to do and how to deal with it.

Don’t focus on what the enemy is doing; invite me in and let me show you where you need to change your thinking so that the enemy can’t create a stronghold.

After you’ve cleared out the clutter, you will feel lighter and you will have more room to breathe. I will come to fill the places you have cleaned with my love, truth and goodness. I have come that you may have life, and have it to the full.

Activation: Ask the Lord where you need to clean up clutter and what the clutter is.

Write down what you need to repent of and repent for wrong thinking and/or wrong mindsets. Take time to let Holy Spirit fill up the spaces you have cleaned out.

John 10:7-10 (NIV)

Therefore Jesus said again, “Very truly I tell you, I am the gate for the sheep. All who have come before me are thieves and robbers, but the sheep have not listened to them. I am the gate; whoever enters through me will be saved. They will come in and go out, and find pasture. The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full.

2 Corinthians 10:5 (NIV)

We demolish arguments and every pretension that sets itself up against the knowledge of God, and we take captive every thought to make it obedient to Christ.
