‘Do not settle in these great days, for settling is the enemy of your destiny; it is the enemy of your movement out of stuckness into progression. Instead, press into me with more fervency than ever before. Don’t grow complacent or partner with a wrong routine that only brings dilution. Be intentional with your time, make the decisions that will challenge you, read the scripture that will convict, hear the words that will deliver, turn your ear and heart to that which will provoke movement and choose to reject settling.
These are the days of new determination and of apprehending the glory and holiness of my kingdom; of encountering the purification that comes with my fire. These are not the days to align with previous moves of my spirit; these are the days of positioning yourself to catch the new revival of holiness, fire and intense, weighty glory. Be determined, be intentional, don’t be a settler.’
1 Kings 19:9-11
There he went into a cave and spent the night. And the word of the Lord came to him: “What are you doing here, Elijah?” He replied, “I have been very zealous for the Lord God Almighty. The Israelites have rejected your covenant, torn down your altars, and put your prophets to death with the sword. I am the only one left, and now they are trying to kill me too.” The Lord said, “Go out and stand on the mountain in the presence of the Lord, for the Lord is about to pass by.”
