Many of you look ahead at circumstances or to your destiny and find yourself overwhelmed by their size. But God is asking you like He asked Jeremiah to ‘look and look again’. Instead of letting your natural eyes provoke your emotional response to what you see, look and see what God is doing with your spiritual eyes and see that faith will rise instead. God is alert; He is active as He watches over His words to see them fulfilled. God is proactively bringing His promises into fruitfulness – even if you ‘see’ a winter.
As you look to big tasks, overwhelming circumstances or grand opportunities, remember that God is the great I am. No matter the season, God will cause fruitfulness to come forth and ensure that signs, wonders, miracles and glory are all revealed in and through your life.
Jeremiah 1:11-12
The word of the Lord came to me: “What do you see, Jeremiah?” “I see the branch of an almond tree,” I replied. The Lord said to me, “You have seen correctly, for I am watching to see that my word is fulfilled.”
