‘There is a time to end some things’, says the Lord, ‘and be content to know that when you do you will have done your job faithfully and true.’
There is a time to say with Jesus, ‘It is finished’, and to know that you are indeed finished with some things. Even though you may look at projects, tasks and vocations in the natural and feel that there is much more that ought to be done, you must be attuned to the Spirit of the Lord to know when it is time to say, ‘Enough! I am finished with this.’
Even as you close down and let go of some precious and dear things, know that the Lord is pleased with the leg of the race that you ran. Remember and be encouraged that:
The glory of this present house will be greater than the glory of the former house,’ says the LORD Almighty. ‘And in this place I will grant peace,’ declares the LORD Almighty. Haggai 2:9
