Triumph is your default  –  your Lion Bites word for today

I heard the spirit of the Lord say a peculiar statement. He said, “triumph is your default.”

The Lord says “you have thought that failure and defeat is the default at which you live from, and that victory and overcoming is something you have to work hard to attain and not something that comes naturally to you. But this is not true. I created you in the image of a triumphant God, one who has no record of failure or defeat. I set in motion a life marked by triumph when I planted you in your mother’s womb.

When you sleep, you are victorious. When you walk, you are triumphant. As you eat your breakfast, still there you are an overcomer. With every inhale and exhale of breath you are breathing in and out as a victory. You do not approach menial or grand battles as an already defeated foe; you approach them with triumph as your default. IN the middle of the battle, when you’re feeling rough and weary, still there you are victorious!

Defeat is not your default, triumph is.”
