Where you have felt like you have been betrayed; or if betrayal comes your way in these days, do not sink to your knees and allow yourself to be taken captive. Beware, because the spirit of betrayal would want to have you fall into a pit of slavery from which it is difficult to escape. Instead, stay close to Jesus Christ, who himself was betrayed and knew how to face his mockers and accusers head-on, without ever stooping low to their level.
Allow God to bring His justice as appropriate and in His time. Keep walking forward with peace in your heart and an assurance that you are perfectly loved by God. God’s grace and mercy is all around you, it surrounds you. Walk with grace and mercy.
Matthew 27:12-14
When he was accused by the chief priests and the elders, he gave no answer. Then Pilate asked him, “Don’t you hear the testimony they are bringing against you?” But Jesus made no reply, not even to a single charge—to the great amazement of the governor.
