God sets the pace – your Lion Bites word for today

For some of us a feeling of panic has started to overcome us because we think we will not have time to finish the task in front of us. The Lord says “I am the one who sets the times and seasons. I am the one who has set this task before you and I will see that you accomplish it. Kick back at the feelings of anxiety that are snapping at your heels, pushing you to go faster and faster. I know the pace you needed to move at, I know what you are able to manage and I have set shoes upon your feet of purpose and authority. So plant your feet firmly on the ground I have given to you and advance, knowing that you are the one in charge as I have given this task to you!”

Ephesians 6:14-18
Stand firm then, with the belt of truth buckled around your waist, with the breastplate of righteousness in place, and with your feet fitted with the readiness that comes from the gospel of peace. In addition to all this, take up the shield of faith, with which you can extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one. Take the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God. And pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests. With this in mind, be alert and always keep on praying for the saints. ​
