“At the scent of water” – your Lion Bites word for today

You may feel as though you are in a spiritual drought, walking wearily through a time of dryness where your dreams and visions seem buried in your past. But, God wants you to know that your wilderness journey is coming to an end and the fact that you are still standing is a delight to God – you did not give up, and your faith and tenacity have pleased Him.

Now, God is breathing fresh life and resurrection upon those buried dreams and promises which appeared to die by the heat of adverse circumstance. The Lord is restoring hope and expectation to your spirit. He is enabling you to smell the much longed for fragrance of fresh water which He is now pouring out on your ground.

He says “the long awaited for springs of life are about to burst open, watering, refreshing and giving nourishment to new shoots which will bud forth around you – you will see fruitfulness in every area of your life.”

So, leave the memory of decaying dreams behind and begin to pray and ask God to align your plans with His. Let your hope be renewed in the knowledge that, as you experience a fresh reviving, you will flourish and fulfil all that God is promising to you.

Job 14:7- 9
At least there is hope for a tree: If it is cut down, it will sprout again, and its new shoots will not fail. Its roots may grow old in the ground, and its stump die in the soil, yet at the scent of water it will bud and put forth shoots like a plant.
