Expand Your World –  your Lion Bites word for today

I saw someone skiing down an indoor ski slope with great skill and perfect technical ability. Despite his ability, the skier grew increasingly frustrated with the size and style of the slope; going back up and down the same way began to wear thin!

You may feel like that skier, stuck in a routine that, yes, you’re good at yet there has been an inner cry for more that has stirred. You are OK with where you are, but you are aware that God made you for greater and frustration with monotony has risen.

Know this; God is calling you out into the open. He is releasing more freedom for you to go further and enabling you to go faster. You are being called to be bolder, to take what you have learned and release it into the open world. For you have been trained well, and your practice has sharpened the gifts and callings of God that you have, but you are now called out of your enclosed space into a vast open space where God is expanding you and what you can do.

So seek Him for the boldness to step out today! Get yourself geared up and dressed appropriately in His Spirit and be astonished as something vastly greater and wildly new comes from your life.
