Take heart – your Lion Bites word for today

Take heart, for you are not alone. Your desire for better – for the greater things – is matched by others who are also seeking the Lord in this hour. There are others who, like you, want to see a more authentic Christianity arise across the earth and who will be like salt to a tasteless generation.

Pursue Christ and follow His example. Be courageously like Him. Throw off all old cloaks and shackles that have become restrictive mindsets to you, without you even realising, and instead put on the mind of Christ, to be applied to every situation.

And the people of God will be a light to this generation and they display Jesus, the desire of the nations. Men and women who have forgotten what it is to taste will begin to savour the goodness of God and will turn towards Him. Take heart!
