Hakkadosh – The Holy One – your Lion Bites word for today

Isaiah 5:16
But the LORD Almighty will be exalted by his justice, and the holy God [Ha-El Hakkadosh] will be proved holy by his righteous acts.

I am Adonai ha’elohim hakkadosh, the Lord the most Holy God. I alone am worthy of adoration and worship. I am without rival. I am divinely complete, utterly perfect and unique. I have no beginning and no end and yet I am the alpha and the omega. As the sun burns with a heat that consumes all that comes near it, so I burn with a fire so white that nothing can quench it. I am the Lord God Almighty, the Creator of all things.

Who can stand in my presence? Who can compare to me?

I am an all consuming fire – and yet I shield you, my child and I cradle you in the palm of my hand. My Son, whom I sent for you, made you righteous by his obedience. And my love for you burns white hot.

I am bringing you a new awareness today of my holiness but know that I am your righteousness. So surrender to my cleansing. Walk in my righteousness and purity today, with a fearlessness that comes from knowing who I am – and that I am in you.

1 Peter 1:16-17
For the Scriptures say, “You must be holy because I am holy”. And remember that the heavenly Father to whom you pray has no favourites. His will judge or reward you according to what you do. So you must live in reverent fear of him during your time as “foreigners in the land”.
