Justice – your Lion Bites word for today
Proverbs 16:11
Honest scales and balances belong to the Lord. He sets the standards for fairness.
God is love and mercy but He is also justice. He has come to set wrong to right. He dwells in justice: justice and judgment are the habitation of His throne. His power holds the sceptre and justice holds the balance. Justice is to give everyone his due – He cannot be anything else but just; His holiness will not allow Him to do anything but that which is righteous. He can no more be unjust than He can be unholy. Justice flows from His nature.
And He says to you today, ‘My justice and love met at the cross, when my justice was poured out on sin and my love paid the price for you’.
