Have you ever seen grass that is so green that you stop in your tracks for a moment, to look again? The Lord says that He is going to bring such an intensity and vibrancy to specific things that you notice around about you that you will be ‘arrested’ in what you are doing. In those moments the communion He has with you will also be intense.
Allow yourself to dwell there for a time, as He has wisdom to impart, revelations to give you and food to feed your spirit. Don’t be surprised when you hear and see things in entirely new ways. Expect both your physical and spiritual senses to come alive! As grass is greenest after the first spring rains, know that your spring has come, winter has passed and it’s time to enjoy the vibrancy of God’s NEW season, along with the emergence of fresh growth.
Today take time to notice. Take time to listen.
Song of Songs 2:11-13
See! The winter is past; the rains are over and gone. Flowers appear on the earth; the season of singing has come, …. come, my darling; my beautiful one, come with me.
