Stop wandering around and around, looking for the right path and way forward. Focus like an athlete on the starting blocks of a running track, one who is given a lane and does not stray from it. Put up a fence to your left and put up a fence to your right, so that your eyes will be blinkered from distraction and so that you will run straight ahead. It is OK that you do not know right now how you will get to that focus point that God has given you, that vision that he put in your heart.
If you apply yourself to the discipline of shutting out the distractions and pushing forwards as He has trained and instructed you, the ‘how you get there’ will be taken care of by God and you will reach that promised place of vision sooner than you currently think.
Proverbs 4:23-27
Above all else, guard your heart, for everything you do flows from it. Keep your mouth free of perversity; keep corrupt talk far from your lips. Let your eyes look straight ahead; fix your gaze directly before you. Give careful thought to the paths for your feet and be steadfast in all your ways. Do not turn to the right or the left; keep your foot from evil.
