Sheep Who Hear

“I am calling you”, the Shepherd says. “It is time for my sheep to move and I require attentive ears within the flock, attentive ears who will focus in on my call, recognising my voice out of all the other bleating and baa-ing that surrounds you”.
You recognise your Master’s voice and you will be able to hear it above the din, as you ‘tune-in’. Be reassured that you don’t need to remove yourself off to some lonely, silent place (because this is not a call for you to be a ‘Lone Ranger’) in order to hear His voice but you DO need to ‘tune-in’.
Then, be obedient to the Master’s direction and, as you begin to move, you’ll find that the others around you will be moving with you. There is a call for the Lord’s flock to shift: “Whoever has ears to hear, let them hear!”

John 10:14,16 & 27

I am the good shepherd; I know my sheep and my sheep know me – just as the Father knows me and I know the Father – and I lay down my life for the sheep… there shall be one flock and one shepherd… My sheep listen to my voice; I know them, and they follow me.
