Financial Wisdom – your Lion Bites word for today

God desires that you would know Heaven’s economic values and the principles of His Kingdom for how you steward your finances. He desires that you would be one who would know how to use money: knowing when to spend it, when to save it and when to give it; stewarding finances using sound Biblical, wisdom.

And with this, God wants to bring a greater level of freedom into your financial stewardship and decision making processes, where previously money, mammon (a spirit of greed) and the spirit of poverty has influenced them.

You have struggled to make decisions because of what is not in your bank account and so lack has begun to rule your thinking, your social life, your care of yourself, your dreams, your hopes and your prophetic promises. You have dismissed things that you knew were good desires but that did not seem financially viable through these lenses.

And yet the Holy Spirit would have you put your trust in Him and not in some sort of one-off financial bonus, saying, ‘It will not be a lump sum of money to solve your current issues but rather the lessons learnt and practices of a greater life-long wisdom in financial stewardship and a freedom from where lack has ruled your thinking’.

If this word resonates with you, why not make a prophetic act of brushing from your head the ruling of lack over your thinking. Some of you are being called to your knees to repent for this life-long ruling and it is time to begin to work with God as He creates a new mind-set and new faith inside of you.

And God says to you, ‘This is not a momentary miracle that solves a present problem but rather a release of the miracle of wisdom, that will equip you to order your finances, stewarding them well for the rest of your life.’

1 Timothy 6:17-19
Command those who are rich in this present world not to be arrogant nor to put their hope in wealth, which is so uncertain, but to put their hope in God, who richly provides us with everything for our enjoyment. Command them to do good, to be rich in good deeds, and to be generous and willing to share. In this way they will lay up treasure for themselves as a firm foundation for the coming age, so that they may take hold of the life that is truly life.
