Keep your hand on the plough

Be strong in the Lord. God has seen your faithfulness – faith and expectation of His provision to fulfil the vision that He has placed on your heart. And He says, ‘Keep your hand on the plough. Do not be tempted to draw back or stop doing what I have assigned to your stewardship.

I am releasing fresh strength to you and a new inner courage. I am removing weariness and filling you with my joy and life-giving vitality.

I am displacing that which was good in the last season and giving you wisdom, new ways of working, enlarging your sphere of influence and causing you to prosper.’

You are not alone. The Lord’s angel-armies are with you. His Spirit is energising those who are engaged in building His Kingdom, influencing arenas, winning the lost to Jesus Christ and reaching out to help the helpless.

Lift up your voice to the Lord in this moment and pray, ‘I trust you today Lord and by faith I access your provision for me. You are well able to provide for all my needs from the silver and gold in your treasury. Thank you Father, I receive all you have for me.’

Haggai 2:4-9
But now be strong, Zerubbabel,’ declares the Lord. ‘Be strong, Joshua son of Jozadak, the high priest. Be strong, all you people of the land,’ declares the Lord, ‘and work. For I am with you,’ declares the Lord Almighty. ‘This is what I covenanted with you when you came out of Egypt. And my Spirit remains among you. Do not fear.’

“This is what the Lord Almighty says: ‘In a little while I will once more shake the heavens and the earth, the sea and the dry land. I will shake all nations, and what is desired by all nations will come, and I will fill this house with glory,’ says the Lord Almighty. ‘The silver is mine and the gold is mine,’ declares the Lord Almighty. ‘The glory of this present house will be greater than the glory of the former house,’ says the Lord Almighty. ‘And in this place I will grant peace,’ declares the Lord Almighty.”
