Luke 15:17
But while he was still a long way off, his father saw him and was filled with compassion for him; he ran to his son, threw his arms around him and kissed him.
Even as you walk in the authority that you have in Christ Jesus, and in the anointing and appointing that He has given you, don’t forget that it’s OK to ask for His help. When you are starting to flounder (see also yesterday’s Lion Bite) or feel like you are going under – call to Him!
I saw a vision of the Lord, seated in heaven and surrounded by legions of angels, thunder, lightnings and a whole glorious roar of activity. But then I saw Him turn and listen as he heard the cry of one of His children.
Just like a mother or father can hear their child’s voice over all the noise of a busy place, He knows your voice and will respond instantly. I then saw him lift his robes and come running, just like the father of the prodigal son did, with a whole legion of the heavenly armies behind Him. The unlimited resources of heaven and the power and might that God possesses came with Him, as He ran to rescue his child. All the roaring thunder and flashes of lightning were around him, driving everything away in His path to get to you.
It’s OK to call to Him. You are very precious to Him. Even when you feel ashamed, He will answer and come running. And nothing will get in His way…
Psalm 97:1-5
Jehovah reigns; let the earth rejoice; let the multitude of islands be glad. Clouds and darkness are all around Him; righteousness and judgement are the foundation of His throne. A fire goes before Him and burns up His enemies round about. His lightnings lit up the world; the earth saw and trembled. The hills melted like wax at the presence of Jehovah, at the presence of Jehovah of the whole earth.
