What will it Take?

What will it take for you to fully trust me?

What will it take for you to fully grasp that I am trustworthy?

The question is a good one because I know that this does not come naturally to you and that you have been hurt in the past by those that you trusted and were betrayed. I know that so often you thought that you had made progress in this area only to be knocked back as something comes against you and you begin to question my trustworthiness. But look at what I have done for you! Look at the cross! Look at the actions I have taken to cause you to see that I am trustworthy! As you focus upon the cross it will be easier for you to trust me, for I have already done so much for you. See my love and my arms outstretched to you and step into my embrace, you will not be disappointed.

2 Samuel 22:2-4 (NKJV)

The LORD is my rock and my fortress and my deliverer; The God of my strength, in whom I will trust; My shield and the horn of my salvation, my stronghold and my refuge;
My Saviour, you save me from violence. I will call upon the LORD, who is worthy to be praised;
So shall I be saved from my enemies.

Isaiah 40:31 (NKJV)

But those who wait on the LORD, shall renew their strength;
They shall mount up with wings like eagles, they shall run and not be weary,
They shall walk and not faint.
