Singing over the foundations – your Lion Bites word for today

Behold, He does a new thing! Look at what God is doing in you! Now is the time that He is extending your building. 

Look at the good foundations that He is building. Just as the priests sang songs of thanksgiving and wept tears of joy over the foundations of the temple walls, so the Lord is saying to take time to rejoice and praise Him for the work He is doing in you. Yes, do look ahead at what you know is still to come and thank God for it, but also take the opportunity you have now to focus on and enjoy and thank God for what He is presently doing. For it is only whilst doing so that He will truly reveal its significance to you. 

Today and this new year, acknowledge His goodness and watch as He builds more. Happy New Year!
