I heard the Lord bring reassurance to those in the midst of tough times.
Hold on to me and remain near to me, no matter the strength of the wind and the height of the waves of that storm that rages all around you. I am with you and I will be the calm in the storm.
Hold on to me, draw near to me and do not let go. You normally have two reactions: fight or flight but now I say: Resist your natural urges to deal with things yourself or else to run far away to somehow ignore the problems. Instead, come close and stay with me through this. Do not forget who I am. I am the calm in the storm. Hold on tight. Do not let go of my hand.’

And He got up and rebuked the wind and said to the sea, “Hush, be still.” And the wind died down and it became perfectly calm
