Don’t doubt – your Lion Bites word for today

Is it time to let go of the anger over situations that you have been unable to forgive from your past? 

I am the Lord, the Righteous One; allow me to be the judge of wrongs and those who have done wrong. Forgive, as you have been forgiven.

For this is a new season. I know you, I created you and I have called you by name. I have a plan for you, all you need to do is let go of those things that belong in the past and trust in me for your future. Do not doubt me and do not doubt yourself. Have confidence in me: I, the Lord your God, know what I am doing.

Will you trust me and will you continue to have faith in me? Will you let go of everything that hinders you, and run the race to the end? Here is a choice: will you let go of striving to make right the past and instead release these things and trust me, so that you might thrive as I intend for your life. Choose well! Take up the option to live life to the full, soaring in me, and with me.
 
Hebrews 12:1-3
Therefore, since we have so great a cloud of witnesses surrounding us, let us also lay aside every encumbrance and the sin which so easily entangles us, and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us, fixing our eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of faith, who for the joy set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, and has sat down at the right hand of the throne of God. For consider Him who has endured such hostility by sinners against Himself, so that you will not grow weary and lose heart.
