Do not partner with the status quo – your Lion Bites word for today

‘Status quo’ is a curse that God is coming to break off your life. It is a curse that causes you conform to the ways of the world and ‘survive’ rather than ‘thrive’. For so long the people of God have partnered with status quo. They have chosen not to disrupt the current state of affairs that the world is living in and in many ways have echoed the world’s choices.

And Father God says, ‘This is not the call of my children. This is not the call of my people.

I have called you to trouble those things that do not align with my Kingdom. I have made you as one who would not settle for worldly ways. I have made you one who would bring an invasion of my Kingdom reality into the world’s reality and see reformation brought into all aspects of society. You were made to challenge status quo. You were made to break status quo.’
 
First break agreement with the curse of status quo in your personal life. Prayer along these lines:
 
‘Father God, I repent for every way that I have partnered with an ungodly attitude of status quo. I repent for where I have allowed it access to my life and to my family. I now ask for your forgiveness from this curse.

And I break agreement with status quo and I declare that no longer will I live in partnership with this curse. I choose to be one who will not conform to the world but will align with the ways of the Kingdom. In Jesus’ name I pray.’

Allow God to begin to show you how you can bring a Kingdom invasion into your midst and how you can see status quo broken in the areas you find yourself.

Romans 12:2
Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewal of your mind, that by testing you may discern what is the will of God, what is good and acceptable and perfect.
