Who do you say I am? – your Lion Bites word for today

There will be many opportunities to give a reason for the hope that you have in Christ Jesus using words, conversations and speeches. In fact there’s an entire book in heaven containing these times over the course of your whole life. But even more than this, much more than this, there is a whole LIBRARY full of the times in your life where God-ordained opportunities will present themselves for you to act on His behalf and demonstrate who He is by the empowered choices you make. So don’t get disheartened by any lack of eloquent speech that you might feel or by those times when you’ve not been able to get the right words out in the right order. You will have many, many more opportunities to act out what you believe.

His Holy Spirit is the one who renews your mind and enables you make choices that are contrary to what the world would expect. You will demonstrate who God is to the people around you simply by acting out who you say He is.

Even today, there are moments when you will be presented with options on how to respond. You may even have to be prepared to take a ‘right-angle’ choice that goes completely against the grain. As you make these manoeuvres, others will see and know who God is – and you will advance and grow too. Go and fill the library of your life with stories of how you acted on your belief in who God is!
