Trust in me and never thirst – your Lion Bites word for today

Isaiah 55:1-2
Ho! Every one who thirsts, come to the waters; And you who have no money come, buy and eat. Come, buy wine and milk Without money and without cost. Why do you spend money for what is not bread, And your wages for what does not satisfy? Listen carefully to Me, and eat what is good, And delight yourself in abundance.

God says, ‘The water is flowing and yet some of you still thirst. There is plenty to eat, yet you go hungry. Even amid the activity and hubbub, loneliness and isolation have begun to creep into your life. You have your eyes and hands on many things and carry much responsibility but nevertheless, ‘Mary has chosen the good part, which will not be taken away from her.’ (Luke 10:41-42)

It is time to simplify your life and reduce what you have your hands and your eyes upon. Your flesh is being fed and yet your spirit is starving. Change your focus, come back to me and know that I will look after you. I will feed you, I will strengthen you and he who puts his trust in me will never thirst.

I am calling you to myself and I am waiting on you.
