Don’t walk away from… – your Lion Bites word for today

Genesis 6:14-16
Make for yourself an ark of gopher wood; you shall make the ark with rooms, and shall cover it inside and out with pitch. This is how you shall make it: the length of the ark three hundred cubits, its breadth fifty cubits, and its height thirty cubits. You shall make a window for the ark, and finish it to a cubit from the top; and set the door of the ark in the side of it; you shall make it with lower, second, and third decks.
 
I am the God who sees the end from the beginning. I know what is coming next in your life and I know where you are going.

For many of you, you know the tasks and assignments that I have set before you and put into your hands. But in recent times those who do not have my understanding or my word have come and brought discouragement to you. You have thought that your labour has been in vain and what you were building was not of me.

Just like in the garden of Eden, the enemy will always come and whisper, “Did God really say?”

But the Lord says to you: ‘Now is not the time to lay down the hammer and the trowel. This is not the time to walk away from that which I have given you to build. I know the end from the beginning, and I know what will be next. Do not listen to the voices of discouragement, I did not send them. They do not understand you nor what you are doing, but it is not their approval that I require, just your obedience and faithfulness. That is the entrance into the more that I have for you. So look again at what I have put into your hands and build what I have given you to build and see what I will do in your life and in the lives of others around you.’
