Shake off the old, put on the new – your Lion Bites word for today

In this season, as God transitions you into the new, He warns you to be wary of ‘crossing over’ whilst still wearing old mind-sets, drinking from old wine and walking in old ways.
 
I heard the Lord say, ‘I am doing a new thing in 2015, I am releasing a whole new breath of my Spirit that you will have no previous understanding of. But in order to stand in, and steward, the full measure of this move, you must let go of the old. For the old is what will ‘clog up your funnel’, the old is what will cause a blockage to the flow. If you refuse to let go of the old you will be unable to feel and facilitate all that I am going to pour out in 2015. It is not that old was ‘wrong’ or was ‘bad’, but what I gave to you previously was for last season not for this season. I have tools and weapons that are designed for each individual time.
 
This is your time to shake off tradition, this is your time to remove old ways, this is your moment to finally shake off everything of dead religiosity and conformity with man and jump into the river of new life that I am bringing to my people in 2015. End 2014 well, leaving behind everything of old ways and old mind sets that would hinder your advance in the new year.

Forget the former things; do not dwell on the past. See, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs up; do you not perceive it? I am making a way in the wilderness and streams in the wasteland.
