My beautiful Bride, I have made you all individually and uniquely. I have made you all with your own characteristics and personalities. I have made you as a beautiful and diverse people who fit together perfectly.
If I made you all as hands then there would be no one to speak. If I made you all as mouths then there would be no one to listen. If I made you all as ears then there would be no one to walk.
This day I am teaching you how to understand and accept who you are and how this is important to my body. But I am also teaching you how to understand and accept who others are, as they are key to my body – and important to you coming into the fullness of your call.
— Where there has been offence caused by those who are different from you, the Lord is beckoning you to lay it down and forgive. God wants you to see the beauty that diversity is!
1 Corinthians 12:12-13
As a body is one though it has many parts, and all the parts of the body, though many, are one body, so also is Christ. For in one Spirit we are all baptised into one body, whether Jews or Greeks, slaves or free persons, and we were all given to drink of one Spirit.
