I watched as the Lord brushed off the thorns and mud that had clung to your legs from an overgrown swamp that you had just battled through. He pulled each thorn out and washed your legs clean from all that was stuck to you.
The Lord says to you, ‘I do not mark you by what struggles you have come against; you are not branded by who or what you have fought. I brand you as my victorious child and an overcomer. I mark you as warrior and, through Christ, a strong man or woman.’
Do not let the trials and tribulations that you have just walked through mark you and define who you are. Rather, choose to be defined by who God says you are.
